Broken Table Refunded But Stuck with Chairs - Milton Green Star Alicante Table Set
That replacement table was shipped from the manufacturer on April 20th in two packages. Package 1, containing the table top and package 2 containing the table legs. On April 24th I received package 2 but not the table top. After giving adequate time for package 1 to arrive I investigated the FedEx tracking records to uncover the whereabouts of my table top. The package had been sent back to the manufacturer on the 24th and is now back in California.
This situation has been very frustrating with no table for my family to eat at for a month. Again, I contacted your customer service department and this time they stated that for some reason FedEx thought I was supposed to pick up the table (even though both packages arrived at the same FedEx location 20 miles away from me and one of them was delivered) and I don%u2019t know where that understanding came from.
I told the representative that I am finished dealing with that particular manufacturer and wanted my money refunded and would return the pieces that I have. Your customer representative informed me that I could return the table legs and receive a refund for the table alone, but not the chairs and bench because they had already been assembled.
I had no idea that this much hassle would be experienced over this purchase so of course I assembled these items in preparation for the delivery of my table. Now, I am stuck with these pieces that will not likely match any other table that I choose in future. I think that this policy is unfair and is not good customer service.
